Chapter 2:
Leaving her tags by the door, Miss Fluff-Fluff left the McPoodle-Face house once and for all with only a bone and a collar, afraid and unsure about the dog-eat-dog world she would now face alone.
She wasn't alone for long, however....
With tears streaming down her furry face, Miss Fluff-Fluff McPoodle-Face walked along the dusky roads of New York City, looking for a hole to hide in and a piece of quiet to cry in. She found niether, though, and before she knew it, she was being followed.
At first, Miss Fluff-Fluff assumed it was one of her 13 siblings, or even her inbred Father, calling her home (not that she would go after how mean they'd all been), but, frighteningly enough, it wasn't one of them. It wasn't even a Cavaliar King Charles Spaniel. It wasn't even a dog.
"Hey kid; wait up," purred a pussycat, strolling up the street with a silky smooth strut that'd grace any catwalk. It was none other than the infamous prowler of the night--a cat that Miss Fluff-Fluff only knew from warning pictures thrust in her face around town and in her own, old home--it was none other than Sugar Da Boog-Boog. A stray cat known for his game-playin' and puppy-lovin'. He was scary.
"Me?" Miss Fluff-Fluff asked Da Boog-Boog nervously. She didn't want to talk with the cat, even if she didn't think low of him. He just seemed like trouble because of what he did, not because he was a feisty-fresh feline with a hankerin' for a hot piece of puppy pie.
Da Boog-Boog laughed a sinister laugh, his eyes glowing goldly in the dark street, the color of the streetlamps that faintly lit the dark. "Why, you look like a pup from the McPoodle-Face family. And quite fluffy to boot, young one. You wouldn't happen to be the youngest doggie-dog, Miss Fluff-Fluff, are ya now?" Da Boog-Boog was stepping towards Miss Fluff-Fluff, creeping her out.
"Stop, Sugar Da Boog-Boog," barked a deep voice form behind Miss Fluff-Fluff, causing both of the animals to nearly jump out of their skin. Miss Fluff-Fluff spun around, shocked at the handsome, tall, golden-haired mutt defending her honor. He was a handsome dog, and Miss Fluff-Fluff knew he could be trusted.
Tune in tomorrow for the last chapter (p.s. thanks to google for our cast!-- I thought it'd be a fun addition to the tale!)
