Write By Numbers: Chapter 2.

Here's the second installment! (Sorry for the typos!)


4 and 10 pulled over when they heard the sirens behind them, and their stomachs dropped. 10 rolled down his window as Officer 42 approached his driver's side. Officer 42 did not look happy as he leaned down to talk to the two numbers.

"Do you 2 know how fast you were going?"

The 2 shook their heads.

"You were going 100 in a 30, 70 over the speed limit. And is that a 40 in your hand?!"

10 handed the 40 to 4, whom was trying to hide a baggie under the seat. 42 saw the baggie, and immediately reached for his walkie-talkie.

"We have a 420 over on the corner of 3rd and 2nd. And I think the driver's drank a 5th. Get here on the double; see you in 5."

10 and 4 shared a look. They sure felt like 0s, and this might mean 40-life.
